We are adding another three months to our 18-month rollout plan and so we have at any time an 18-month forecast of where construction is going to begin.  And we have added another 550,000 homes and businesses across Australia will be connected to the NBN or have construction underway and then be shortly thereafter connected and that runs out now till September 2016.

Question Time: The NBN Rollout in Indi

In the middle of the year, in the second quarter of this year, we expect to have the NBN’s revised corporate plan which will set out its three year plan. I know that everybody, my colleagues on the government side and I am sure all other members, is anxious to know when the construction work will begin in every single neighbourhood. It is proceeding at a much greater pace than it was under the Labor Party.
