Woomera Test Range upgrade to drive jobs and growth in South Australia

Today I announced that Raytheon Australia has been awarded a $297 million contract to upgrade the Woomera Test Range to a state-of-the-art facility, driving jobs and investment in South Australia.

The company will replace the dated systems at Woomera, some of which are over 40 years old, with modern equipment, improving the reliability, capability and capacity of the Woomera Test Range creating 70 new jobs.
